Climate-controlled Piano Storage

Whether you are moving, remodeling or traveling, we keep your piano in good hands. Our climate-controlled piano storage facility ensures the soundboard, pinblock and all the wood parts of the piano stay in good shape. To make it stress free and worry free for you, we handle the move from your home to our storage facility. Our rates run from $95-$150 a month depending on the size and value of your piano.

Our storage facility is in Lafayette, serving Boulder, the Denver metro area, the Front Range and Colorado’s mountain communities.

Piano Storage FAQ

Is there a minimum storage period?

No. There’s no minimum stay, and our terms are flexible, so your piano can stay a few weeks or as long as you need.

How do you protect the piano in Colorado’s dry climate?

Our facility holds humidity at 40–50% year-round. That matters in Colorado’s very dry climate, where low humidity can crack soundboards, loosen tuning pins and shrink the wood parts of a piano.

Is moving included in the monthly rate?

Moving is quoted and billed separately from the monthly storage fee. The cost depends on the distance, how many stairs are involved and similar details. Call us for a quote.

I’m moving to Colorado. Can you take my piano ahead of me?

Yes. If you’re relocating to Colorado from another state, we can handle the cross-country move and keep your piano in climate-controlled storage until your new home is ready.

Can you tune the piano when it comes home?

Yes. Moving and seasonal changes affect tuning, so we recommend a tuning once the piano has settled in its new home. See our piano tuning page or call us to schedule.

What areas do you serve?

Our storage facility is in Lafayette, and we serve Boulder, the Denver metro area, the Front Range and Colorado’s mountain communities.
